Wilco delivered a wide-ranging scope of work in 2025, advancing key infrastructure and environmental enhancements across the site. Our team installed six kilometres of wildlife exclusion fencing to protect elk and other species, and constructed a new Texas gate crossing on Three Sisters Drive. FireSmart selective tree thinning was completed to reduce wildfire risk and safeguard the future community. In partnership with Ankora Wall, Wilco cast custom concrete blocks using a mold-and-liner system and constructed retaining walls throughout the development. These structures incorporate steel tie-back rods and an integrated drainage system to manage groundwater and stabilize steep slopes. Landscaping efforts included boulevard plantings within the emerging commercial and mixed-use village, complemented by small park spaces that enrich the public realm. Newly built pathways now link the upper Stewart Creek neighbourhood to planned lower areas and connect seamlessly to Canmore’s existing regional bike path network. Beyond this project, Wilco also completed landscaping and bioswale installations along Bow Valley Trail in downtown Canmore, supporting improved stormwater performance and streetscape quality.
