The Glencoe is a 45-hole private club set along the Elbow River – Wilco is working under design guidance of WAC and groundcubed to fully rebuild and reimagine the 18-hole Meadows course over a two-year period. The redesign introduces strategic rerouting to shorten green-to-tee transitions, modernize infrastructure, and enhance the playability and character of every hole. Much of the previous “artificial shaping” will be removed, allowing new contours to blend naturally into the river valley landscape. Select tree clearing will highlight existing ridges and open wider playing corridors, encouraging more creative shot-making and elevating the overall golf experience. Wilco began work in late 2025 following the close of the golf season, stripping and stockpiling topsoil, dewatering and reshaping ponds, removing old cart paths, and completing targeted tree clearing to prepare the site for major construction. In 2026, Wilco will undertake bulk grading, build new greens, tees, and bunkers, install updated irrigation systems, and bring the project team’s course vision to life. The fully renewed Meadows course is scheduled to reopen for play in 2028.
