Overall project included the complete construction of the streetscape along McOrmond Drive, a highly active arterial thoroughfare within the Aspen Ridge neighborhood. The project site remained active with public access to businesses throughout the entire duration of the project. Wilco’s self performed all work including concrete curbs and ramps, structural soil cells, unit paving, irrigation, site furnishings, planting (trees, shrubs, and perennials), sod, and landscape maintenance. Wilco initiated alternates from the specified tender products for site furnishings and tree grates, which resulted in very significant costs savings to the owner for both items, and a unique design that reflected the subdivision character.
