This stretch of pathway through Fish Creek Park was in need of an upgrade to handle the increase in users. Wilco removed and widened over 6 kilometers of asphalt path, moving quickly to complete the work before cold weather put a halt to paving operations. Wilco’s efficiency was put to work here, removing pathways, stripping and regrading the base, and ensuring drainage challenges and grade issues were improved. The newly upgraded route winds from the Mallard Point area down to The Ranche, with a few other special projects deep in the heart of the park. Wilco’s strong suit on these projects is the efficiency of movement and the ability to collaborate with the project team to streamline the schedule, work through construction challenges and tackle potential problems before they impact the flow of work. The end result is a challenging package of work completed professionally in a short period of time, and ready for the public to enjoy.
