In collaboration with Associated Engineering and the Town of Drumheller, Wilco led the expansion and upgrade of critical water and sanitary utilities for communities near the downtown core. Our team expertly cased, drilled, and installed two 300-meter HDPE pipelines beneath the Red Deer River bed. On the north side, the pipeline was extended and connected to the existing lift station using precision-engineered fittings. On the south side, it was carefully routed through residential areas, main roads, and CN rail rights-of-way, and tied into existing infrastructure along Highway 575. The project was executed with efficiency in mind, minimizing disruptions to the community. Major shutdowns were avoided, and highway rerouting was implemented while tie-in connections were made. Now complete, this upgrade provides Drumheller with improved water capacity and enhanced servicing flexibility for future maintenance. Wilco’s scope of work improves and expands every year, and the professionalism of our team is what drives that constant improvement and growth.
